Tollgate Village: Parking Plan and Traffic Calming Improvements Project

The aim of this project is to deploy various traffic calming measures, as well as a neighborhood-specific parking plan, to ensure that public roadways are safe for everyone in the Tollgate Village neighborhood. The parking plan, in particular, is designed to ensure efficient emergency vehicle access to all portions of the neighborhood, while the traffic calming measures are intended to increase safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. Traffic calming measures include speed cushions and crosswalks, focused in the Town Center, while the parking plan designates “no parking” areas to allow for the feasible and efficient passage of all types of vehicles throughout the entire neighborhood.

Project Updates

May 2026

Please join us on June 8, 2026 at 6pm at the Tollgate Village Clubhouse for a Drop-In Session, during which Town Staff and emergency services representatives will be available to answer questions and address concerns.

The deployment of the Parking Plan and Traffic Calming Improvements project is underway, with signage and traffic calming measures being installed throughout the neighborhood, per the final version of the Parking & Traffic Calming Plan. This version incorporates feedback from the Tollgate HOA, as well as residents, from Summer 2025 – Spring 2026.

Final Version of the Parking & Traffic Calming Plan

Summer 2025

A proposed Parking Plan and Traffic Calming Improvements were introduced to address safety concerns identified by Tollgate Village residents. The proposal included enhanced signage and striping to clearly designate no-parking areas, ensuring emergency services could safely and efficiently access all areas of the neighborhood.

Additional pedestrian improvements, such as curb ramps, sidewalks, signage, and speed cushions, were also proposed to improve accessibility and overall safety within the Town Center. Input from residents and stakeholders was encouraged through a scheduled Open House on August 7 from 4:30–6:30pm, as well as through an online feedback form for those unable to attend.
