Community Development

The Community Development Department oversees the physical development of the Town and is composed of two sectors: Planning & Zoning and Building & Codes.

Finance

The Finance Department supports and facilitates municipal operations using effective and efficient expenditure and revenue management accounting.

Information Technology

The IT Department keeps the Town’s technology assets operational, reliably maintained, and secure to facilitate efficient flow of data and electronic information.

Parks and Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department serves the Town by providing and maintaining environments and opportunities that promote healthy citizens and communities.

Police and Fire Rescue

Thompson's Station is protected by the Williamson County Sheriff's Department and the Williamson County Fire and Rescue Squad

Public Works

The Public Works Department provides quality maintenance to town-owned infrastructure.

Interim Town Administrator

The Town Administrator is appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and manages the Town budget and Town staff.

Town Clerk

The Town Clerk is appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and is the first point of contact at Town Hall.

Wastewater

The Wastewater Department keeps the Town’s wastewater facilities in operation by maintaining maintenance and management in accordance with the state laws and regulations.
