The Town of Thompson’s Station is now accepting Bids for Electric Vehicle Charging Playground Construction/Design through October 8th, 2026 at 2:00PM.
Project Scope:
Project consists of the permitting, excavation, and electrical activities to facilitate the installation of ChargePoint Express 280 electric vehicle charging equipment to provide 250A, up to 160kW, of rapid electric vehicle charging capability to be operated by the Town of Thompson’s Station. The installation, commissioning, and activation of the ChargePoint charging hardware is not included in this scope of work; however, the EV charging equipment foundation templates will be provided by the Town of Thompson’s Station for anchor bolt and electrical conduit installation to be completed by the awarded bidder. This project will provide the necessary make-ready provisions for the subsequent installation of two ChargePoint Express 280 dispensers, with the installed electrical breakers and conduit to allow for the future installation of two additional dispensers.
