This notice is to inform businesses within the Heritage Commons commercial area of
upcoming road work on Thompson’s Ridge Road, Traders Way, and two unnamed connector
streets. The attached map highlights the affected areas and streets that are included in this project.
The Town of Thompson’s Station has awarded the project to Nickell Contracting, LLC. The
work will include milling approximately 1.5 inches of existing surface asphalt, cleaning the
roadway, and installing 1.5 inches of new surface asphalt.
The project is expected to take approximately one week to complete. To minimize impacts
to businesses, employees, customers, suppliers, and regular school traffic, work has been
scheduled primarily overnight and during Williamson County Schools’ Fall Break.
Project Schedule:
Work Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Start Date: Sunday, October 11, beginning at 8:00 PM on Thompson’s Ridge
Target Completion: Friday, October 16
The schedule is dependent upon favorable weather and uninterrupted equipment and
materials availability. While every effort will be made to meet the target completion date,
unforeseen circumstances such as weather or equipment issues may result in delays.
Traffic & Access
All roads will remain open throughout the project. However, motorists may experience brief
delays as crews direct and flag traffic around active work areas. We appreciate your
patience and cooperation as crews work to safely complete the improvements.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we work to improve the
roads serving the Heritage Commons commercial area.
